The first 5 years of Mr. McKaig's early career development included a two year appointment, in Equity Sales, with Midland (Doherty) Walwyn followed by a three-year international tenure, as Sales Manager, with the Royal Canadian Mint's Gold Maple Leaf coin Department.
His initial marketing and policy formulation advisory contracts with the United States Treasury Department's Bureau of the US Mint, and the Montreal Exchange provided the momentum to expand his diverse client base, world wide. Jim Helik, MSc
Jim Helik is a Toronto-based market and financial analyst and the former editor of the Canadian Investment Review (a quarterly peer reviewed journal for Canadian institutional investors) and International Derivatives magazine. He was also a contributing editor of Benefits Canada (a magazine for Canadian pension plan sponsors). He is co-author with Wilfred Vos of 101 Investment Tips: How To Maximize Returns and Reduce Risk, a best-selling book for the Canadian retail investor
He has co-authored the textbook Energy Markets-Risk Management Course for the Canadian Securities Institute for both English and French language releases. His investment analysis articles and commentary on financial issues have appeared in more than two dozen magazines and journals.
His research interests fall into three areas:
Complex Valuation—electricity trading, emissions trading, the costs of market regulation;
Alternative Assets—real estate, hedge fund creation, derivatives
Pension Issues—governance, the role of private savings.
Currently he is teaching business and management at the School of Business, Ryerson University in Toronto, and is a contributing editor of Benefits and Pensions Monitor, an investment magazine for plan sponsors. He is the editor and monthly columnist for the Institute’s on-line The Exchange program, a subscription based service for 5,000 paid subscribers who are students and alumni of the Canadian Securities Institute, where he covers issues that are emerging in the securities world. He also wrote the introductory chapter for the Institute’s three volume course for the Canadian life insurance industry.
Recently, he has served on the Editorial board for The Financial Journalist, a publication of the CFA Institute. He is also Contributing editor for the third edition of Introduction to the Canadian Mortgage Industry for the Canadian Institute of Mortgage Brokers and Lenders. New Editions are slated over the coming next few years. He has also authored Chapters in two texts, part of the CSI’s Strategic Wealth Designation.
Charles Janthur, BA, CITP, FICB, MBA

Charles Janthur is Vice President, Money Market, of DEPAG Deposit Agency of Canada Inc., a Toronto based company dealing with money market trading for Canadian, American and European clients. Mr. Janthur actively trades in these three markets, arranges credit through chartered banks, private sources of funds, and factoring facilities of domestic and foreign accounts receivable.
He is involved in international business as the General Manager of the Federation of Export Clubs Canada, Executive Director of the Canada Romania Business Council, Treasure of the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) and CITP representative on the FITT Board of Directors. Charles Janthur also teaches, part-time, at the University of Guelph, Ryerson University, School of Business Management and has taught at Carleton University. Claudia Lang, J.D
Claudia Lang ( Honorary Advisor to TMI ), is currently the Legal & Development Director for Canada Life - Europe, in Dublin.
Claudia is a qualified solicitor in England and is also admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Ontario, Canada. Prior to her involvement in the UK life insurance sector, Claudia practised corporate and securities law in Toronto and has passed the directors' and senior officers' examination of the Canadian Securities Institute. Claudia is fluent in English, German and French, and has a working knowledge of Spanish, Italian and Russian.

Mr. Jaime Rozinsky, fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese is "Certified in Engineering Technology" by the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists, also holds an "Engineering Technology Diploma" (telecommunications) from the National College of Technical Education, Buenos Aires, and an "International Trade Professional Diploma" accredited by the International Association of Trade Training
organizations in Brussels.
Jack Speake

Mr. Jack Speake is a former Director of Canada Trust and retired as President of The Canada Trust Company. He was also Dean of the Canada Trust Management Institute and a former Director of the Canadian Payments Association.
Presently, he holds the position of Chairman of Conservatory Canada. He has served on the Mayor's Task Force on the Information Highway in London. He has managed projects on behalf of the Canadian Banker's Association and assisted the Canadian government in the privatization of a Lithuanian Bank. He is now partner in MindSharing Resources Inc., advising corporations in developing FutureGroup learning labs.
John Vardalas, PhD
Dr. John Vardalas, with graduate degrees in mathematical physics, economic geography and the history of science, technology and industry, has extensive experience in framing technology assessment issues within a broader corporate, economic, and social framework. He is currently engaged in a multi-disciplinary study that examines how different national innovation systems attempt to jump on to
global technological revolutions.
Dr. Vardalas speaks fluent English and French.
